    Banaba leaf
    http://www.newswithviews.com/Ellison/shane35.htm
while I didn’t have to use the banaba leaf, others might have to if they have had diabetes longer and need to turn the receptors back on. < I can’t say as mine was cured without. I had diabetes 2 I believe for short time.
the fake sugars are poison, do not touch them. they are deadly even though the FDA approved them. slowely killing.
    aspratame, etc.
use STEVIA it is alkaline you can grow your own. stay organic. no poisons on/in the body, no chemicals !!! bless..

    Hi Sharadha,
I just recently came across your website today, and I just wanted to let you know that it is fabulous! You have so many wonderful ideas, it is very amazing to see how many different ways you are cooking with sprouted items. I love your attitude towards diabetes and weight loss, that it can be done without too many Western medicines and also can include filling and delicious healthy food. I think it is wonderful that you are taking such good care of your husband to keep him eating healthy with the variety of dishes that you can prepare. I also have many friends and family members who have diabetes and they are often resigned to just take medicines from the doctor and begin to lose their health because medicines can only do so much.

I just wanted to share with you this website:

    http://mendosa.com/chanadal.html

about chana dal, it is a part of an website about diabetes. Apparently chana dal is very low GI, the lowest of all legumes.

Also, I am compiling a list of lo-carb vegetables. We can be thankful that there are still SO MANY delicious vegetables for people with diabetes. Here is a list I found on about.com

    http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/whattoeat/a/whatveg.htm

I also have a list of lo-carb vegetables recommended in the book by Dr. Bernstein Diabetes Solution and First year with type 2 diabetes by Gretchen Becker that I will copy down and send to you soon.

    All good wishes!
    -Betty

    Hi Sharadha,

I recently came across your blog and there are so many new ideas in it. There are a lot of bloggers and blog readers who are into healthy cooking. I know of sponsors who pay bloggers like me by pageviews unlike the conventional pay-per-click method. You could generate some income from it and also expand your reader base, if you like. If this idea interests you, please contact me. If not, do ignore this message and I apologize for taking up your time. Keep up you good work. 🙂

Feedback on Choicest Healthy Recipes for Diabetes and Obesity

I visited your blog, Choicest Healthy Recipes for Diabetes and Obesity located at https://healthydietforyou.wordpress.com/ recently. I must say, I’m quite impressed by the blog’s content. In particular, I really liked https://healthydietforyou.wordpress.com/2008/12/31/top-10-recipes-of-2008/.

    Good job!

I’d like to know if you’d be interested in having me as a guest writer for your blog. I am a features writer working with MiracleFruitPlus.com. I’d like to write a free 300 to 400 word blog entry for you. I have a few years experience and would really enjoy writing one or two guest blog entries for your blog.

If you’d like to take me up on my offer, please send me a topic and a quick outline of what you’d like the article to say. Please give me as much detail as possible so I can make the blog entry meet your specifications as much as possible.

In exchange for this free blog entry, I would like to request a linkback to MiracleFruitPlus in the body of the blog entry somewhere using the title tag “miracle fruit.”

I look forward to your response

    Hello Sharadha,
I was on your web page reading information about diabetes. Then I clicked on “About author” and because I was interrupted by my son, I didn’t finish to read about it all. I left and when I came back, it was gone. Now I can find only recipe pages and information about you and comments, not the actual page. Could you please give me your webside address where I can find information asbout diabetes. There was so many good information which I would really like to read about.

  21. manila says:

    Good job sharadha!

I too will be creating a separate page on diabetic
recipes on my site, sometime in the future.

My mom is a diabetic and hence she has way too much info about and books on healthy eating for diabetics.

I feel that if the food is good for health and tasty too, then everyone will not have a problem following a diet.

I have bookmarked ur page and will keep visiting.
